We Find Insulation Issues in Summit County

Infrared thermography is a valuable tool that sets us apart from other inspection companies in Summit County. This technology allows us to visualizing thermal variances resulting from evaporation or leaks. We can identify plumbing leaks inside walls, roofing leaks, or moisture intrusion around windows well before they become noticeable to the naked eye. It also allows us to find inadequate insulation by “observing” where heat is transferring through walls and ceilings, revealing deficiencies that a standard inspection might overlook. In addition to insulation, thermal imaging pinpoints drafts by capturing air-streams entering through gaps around windows, doors, and attic hatches, showing exactly where weatherstripping is required. Finally, it can uncover pest infestations by detecting heat from active colonies or cold spots left where insulation has been disturbed by pests.

WDI (Termite) Inspections for VA Loans, Refinancing, and Peace of Mind

Many FHA, VA, and HUD loans require a Wood-Destroying Insect (WDI) inspection before closing. Our licensed inspectors check for termites, carpenter ants, powderpost beetles, and other WDIs common in Ohio. We are licensed by the Ohio Department of Agriculture and provide the official Ohio NPMA-33 form required by lenders.

Summit County Mold Inspections & Air Quality Testing

Suspect mold? Unexplained allergies or musty odors can be a sign of hidden mold growth. Mold can negatively affect your health and your home’s structural integrity. Our Summit County mold inspection team uses professional surface and air sampling (spore trap) tests to identify hidden mold, assess your indoor air quality (IAQ), and provide a clear report on any issues found.

It would be nice if finding mold were this easy. Most mold is microscopic, and it is a danger when it is in the air, not necessarily when it is visible on surfaces. Only lab testing can confirm the presence or absesnce of mold.

Shield your family from this colorless, odorless gas.

Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer among non-smokers. Northeast Ohio, including areas of Cuyahoga, Summit, and Lake counties, is known for high radon levels. Our team offers certified 48-hour continuous radon monitoring to ensure your property is under the EPA action level of 4 pCi/L. Bundle a radon test to your home inspection for complete peace of mind.
