Akron lead clearance exams, $690
Lead clearance exams for Akron rental units after repairs, so you can close out the work with a licensed assessor’s report.
The clearance exam for Akron rentals
In Akron, most of our lead work is for Section 8 rentals, where a licensed clearance report is part of keeping a unit approved and in the program. After repairs and cleaning, the clearance exam confirms the unit is ready. Akron’s rubber-boom housing, from Highland Square bungalows to hillside homes in the valley, is exactly the kind of pre-1978 stock this work was designed for.
Visual check
We confirm paint is intact and the unit is free of visible chips, debris and dust.
Dust-wipe samples
Floors, sills and wells are wiped and sent to an accredited lab.
Your results
You receive the signed clearance report once the lab results are in.
