Youngstown lead clearance exams, $690
Lead clearance exams for Youngstown rental units after repairs, so you can close out the work with a licensed assessor’s report.
The clearance exam for Youngstown rentals
In Youngstown, lead-safe requirements apply to rental housing across the city, so a clearance exam is how owners close out repairs on pre-1978 units. After repairs and cleaning, the clearance exam confirms the unit is ready. Mill-era neighborhoods built for steelworker families left Youngstown with a lot of small, well-worn homes where friction surfaces and exterior paint are the main concerns.
Visual check
We confirm paint is intact and the unit is free of visible chips, debris and dust.
Dust-wipe samples
Floors, sills and wells are wiped and sent to an accredited lab.
